Sport

Children take part in a range of sporting activities. Our emphasis is to promote as much involvement as possible for all children. Whole school sporting carnivals are run in swimming and athletics. Older grades also participate in the Cross Country and Winter sports.

Swimming

A series of 10 x 45minute sessions are organised for children as part of our Physical Education curriculum which generally takes place over a 2 week period. This is part of our Physical Education program for all year levels. This takes place at the Lakes Aquadome under the direction of the pool’s qualified instructors. Each child is required to participate unless a medical condition prevents this. If this is the case, please make available to your child’s teacher a doctor’s letter explaining why your child should not participate in swimming.
