Helen Renehan

Grade 4

Helen Renehan has been teaching at St Brendan’s for over 20 years. In 2009 she will be teaching Grade 4 to release Marie to teach music. Other special responsibilities she has are: Literacy Coordinator, Religious Education Coordinator, Reading Recovery Teacher; This year I will be undertaking intensive training in this area.

LIKES:

Helen enjoys reading, gardening, music, walking Barney the dog and conversing with nature.

DISLIKES:

Footy tipping – I just love throwing away good money! They really should lift the status of the person who manages to stay consistently at the bottom of the footy tipping ladder.

Favourite Subjects:

I don’t have one favourite subject. I think every subject can be exciting and meaningful, especially if the activities are ‘real’ and ‘hands-on’.
